No hydro at home?

i know a familly with kids.that the power get cut off for unpaid

bils in ontario canada.the amount is nearly 5 thousands $.

and they have a house with basement.

so the question is: since they cannot pay the bill for now.can they buy a generators to use for a couple months.

and what the cost for the generator? and what's the best one?

to get all the lights fridge,stove to work?

and is all the generators works with gas?
