Does it worth to get an amplifier for my Boston sub or should I get a new sub too? I want my trunk lid to vibrate, you know what I mean... I don't need a super strong subwoofer, but I want it to satisfy me. What sub and amp brands and models do you guys recommend? Or do you think that my sub is enough for me? My price range is around $800 for both sub and amp.

that's a 10in which really isn't enough for me because I really like it loud, but you could just get a 400 watt amp and be good too. I like kicker subs and amps. I also like profile amps, just don't get sony xplod.
